I'm messing around with a new banner. I'm liking the apples a lot right now, after several not so successful attempts. I have absolutely no skill at this sort of thing, so of course I ended up with some really ludicrous-looking banners. Like:
First I tried to be clever with this giant fork. But it really is gigantic and just looks a bit threatening, no?
Then I tried these nice pears, but I wanted a true white background, which these do not have and decided it was just... odd-looking.
I don't know if I've settled on the apples, but they're staying up until something better comes along.

I like the apples very much.....I did like the fork when I first saw it earlier today... the apples look more like you to me....the pears are my least favorite.xo

I like the apples. I think the fork could look great too, but the apples are a sure winner....looks great!

I love the fork - being entirely biased of course! - but the apples are more classical and definitely full of "mists and mellow fruitfulness" though I don't know how apt that is for you at the moment, certainly I've come over all Jack Frost today!

Ahah, I thought the fork was going to attack me for a minute there. Love the apples, though. xox

Lisa, I like the apples, too, though I think I'd like to end up with something a little less "busy".
Ronell, that fork is really big when it's up there as a banner... I'm still working on this, but it's apples for the moment. :-)
J, you would like the fork! When are we going to hear about your adventures in NYC?
suzanne, maybe I'll pop the fork back up one day and see what people think when it's looming at the top of the page... :-) Your Thanksgiving looked wonderful, by the way. So beautifully arranged.
