I want to thank Anne Harwell of Annechovie for my new banner, which I commissioned from her in December. Anne was an absolute pleasure to work with and we had a lot of fun coming up with the concept and final result. I love that each element is a separate painted piece and that the whole is a "painted collage."
If you visit Anne's site you'll see what talented artist she is. I, of course, fell madly in love with her food paintings and bought this delicious rendering of a Larduree religieuse. One of my goals for this year is to learn to make religieuses and this painting can only inspire me!
You can visit Anne's etsy shop here. She takes commissions, people, so if you need a gorgeous pastry painting or a new banner, or something that is still in your imagination, drop her a line through her shop!
Thanks again, Anne!

Really lovely paintings. In fact I like your new banner very much: those shades of green and blue are among my absolute favorites, and the whole just looks beautiful.
